There is very little distraction created from the unusual shopping bags. Most people who do take notice of the bag take a quick glance and then they quickly look away. there are a lot of distractions around them and do not notice the bags. The people who do react to the bag are the shop employers, or when the bag is placed in a position where people have no choice but to look at the bag. Although when walking back to the car we walked past a cafe and a man pointed at the bag to tell his friend and they laughed. This was rare and only happened a few times. The unusual shopping bags do not make a significant impact on consumers however people look at the bags differently to normal shopping bags as they are confronting, funny and unusual.
